  1. Sir, I went to I.O.B. Nasianur road branch, Erode, Tamilnadu, for making payment in an account in I.O.B., Madras. After spending more time in queue, they lethargically replied that ' you cannot pay in this branch. Go to Erode main branch. Then I went to Erode Main Branch of I.O.B., Sathy Road, Erode-after spending much time in queue, I received lethargic reply there that ' you go to Kilianur branch'. I am sorry to say your service is extremely bad. They treat me as a unwanted irritating creature.

    the interest for jan 2016 not so far credited.the reason given is chaNGE OF
    SOFTWARE (finacle).pl see that the interest on monthly SFD is credited
    within 3 days.failing which i will be constraied to shift the deposits
    to some other bank which give prompt service

  5. I am having a SB A/C in West Mambalam branch, Chennai 600033and face similar problems.There are more problems in net banking also. The mobile number required for SMS or password resetting has often gets erased in the system resulting in going to the branch and give a written request for updation. Even after this the staff never care to update the same and I am unable to do net banking.

  6. My account is debited for an online payment. The payment is not credited on the other side. After seven days I have made a complaint. I was informed that it will take 10 working days to sort out this issue. Absolutely ridiculous service. All phone lines are ever busy. No one is interested to solve the problem

    I am quite satisfied with the IOB Kadayam branch staff. My netbanking service also was very fast and useful till December 2015. From January 2016 onwards I am experiencing a very strange problem with my net banking transactions.
    I am a senior citizen and because of my inability to go to the bank often, I carry out almost all transfer of funds into my various SB A/cs, Deposits and Remittances into my loan advance accounts every month from my home computer. I have been doing this for the past several years.
    But the account numbers of one of my Gold Advance Account I availed of on 28/01/2016, has not yet been included in the list in my net banking account till date, that is,06/08/2016.
    Similarly, in the other net banking account I have with a different ID for my son, also has the same problem. On 28/01/2016 another gold advance was sanctioned to my son. But this account number is also not yet included in his net banking account till date, that is, 06/08/2016.
    Further more, I had repledged my jewels on 03/08/2016. This account number is included in the list. So I included this A/C No. in the ADD PAYEE list. but even after a lapse of 30 hours it is still “UNAPPROVED”.
    Please do the needful to get my problems rectified without any further delay.

    I am sorry to say again that I have given complaints against the matter at Mumbai Garodianagar Branch.
    It is very serious matter to say, with out making any transaction the amount debited from my account. who is going to keep deposits if the things are happening like this? is this the service the bank gives to poor people?
    Please find the attachments of all documents of complaints to police station and to Garodianagar branch.

    kindly resolve the issue and arrange for the amount to be credited in my account as I am need of funds.

  64. Sir i am really sorry to inform that i applied for new atm card 1 month back, still i am waiting for it, but money got deducted on the same day that is 1 month back.
    Also i have given application for change in mobile no. for mobile banking but still i have not yet received Mpin
    also if i use forget MPIN option through Internet banking it is saying that u r not a registered user but i used the service since 2015. if i try to freshly register its saying u r already a registered member, what the hell going on. IOB people are very lazy, they don’t want to work.
