  2. I suggest everyone not to open account in any of the branches of canara bank. U are seriously gonna cry if u open account with them.extremely bad service. They deduct money whenever they wish to without your consent. Canara bank is literally headache. Its better to handover you money to a thief rathing than depositing in canara bank.

  3. Mobile banking de-registration process is not found online or via SMS. There is no scope of changing mobile number online.
    Mailbox is not properly created, submit button on the right end
    is not visible clearly. There is no way of retrieving forgotten user id for mobile banking. User id sent by SMS
    hiding the initial character of first three character by a smile despite of sending SMS to the registered mobile number associated with concerned account. What is the use such SMS.
    De-registering process should be there. It is not even found in the netbanking portal.These gap should be filled up to make
    the banking experience.Technological resources are insufficient compared to other banks.

    I am not receiving OTP for doing Internet Banking Transaction from month of Oct.27, 2016 on my registered mobile +9647827832665, Initially, I had informed the issue to the local Bank branch manager Canara bank and Circle Office Patna and Customer support Bangalore.
    But till date they have not been able to solve the problem.
    I am disappointed of their inability and poor service of concerned authorities to provide the solution.They have not take issue seriously.

  10. I have been trying to use paytm for several reasons but the transactions are being failed through the bank. More over the amount is being deducted from the Bank and is not being refunded back in the Paytm wallet. i am expecting 750/- and 26/- refund.
    I have already dropped a mail to the paytm customer care but they have asked me to contact the bank for this issue as all my transactions are being failed through bank.
    I request you to please find out what is the problem and why is my refund not coming back to either of my account ( Bank account or Paytm wallet.)
    please try to refund the amount as soon as possible.

  12. the bank is so unprofessional in approach and consumer care that a consumer complaint mailed on ID, callsupport@canarabank.com is returned back by the postmaster CB on the ground that recipient is not found. The customer care don’t deliver complaint’s registration no. but customer care executive demanded registration no. when contacted for the status of the complaint.

  13. Once upon a time, the account with Canara bank was a prestige and the bank was giving excellent service. But of late, the service has deteriorated. Especially on credit card transactions. Even if we have good credit limits, the Point of Sale transactions are rejected for small amounts. When we make complaint, no specific answer. No apology for deficiency in service. Email sent to official website email id bounces back.
    The customer service guys keen on not answering your calls directly and explicitly. They want to give wishy washy replies to your queries. They only give proper answers when being put in corner.

    My Account no: 1753101008473.
    I am not 100% physically fit. I am humble too. So, when I make a visit to that particular branch of Canara Bank they use some bad and insulting words. Today, I went there. Some TD are matured since November 2016. They informed me that my account inactive. I ask them the reason. They told me that I do not make any transuction with the bank o but it was a false statement. Last transaction was made by end of December 2015 which is just shade of one year. This is just beginning of year 2017.
    I am unployed due my epilepsy. My mother was a family pensioner. So, we are not able to make any transaction in 2016. So, just 12 month transaction can be considered more sympathytically.
    I told manager to give me written statement. He refused and told me that it involves his job risk. He is able to inform in oral statement. So, we can understand he is incorrect. So, do it ground of humility and corrected manner.
    Hope they will not do anything about with my physically fitness. Please take care about it.

  23. My SB Account no is 2020101013954. I applied for cheque book via internet and got sms on 21.3.2017 that my cheque book has been dispatched via India Post Ref No. EQ492749442IN on 20.3.2017 but more than 10 days has passed but I have not got my cheque book. Yesterday also I got an sms that collect your cheque book, but from where I should collect it, they did not tell. When I visited my Kalkaji Branch, they said that they have not received any of my cheque book. I need cheque book very badly because I have to deposit school fee, but due to gross negligence in service, I am unable to understand where should I approach for my grievances. Their customer care is like a deaf and dumb. No one picks up the phone there. Pl help me where should I approach

I am Chaitanya Jain, account holder in Canara bank.I have applied for the refund for my product in Amazon which has to be send in my Canara Bank account It was told from Amazon that refund for amount 670.1 has been successfully processed on 31-MAR-17 and the amount should reflect in your account by now, but i haven’t received any credit

    When I send mail to imbhelpdesk@canarabank.com i ot replied that “The e-mail address you entered couldn’t be found. Please check the recipient’s e-mail address and try to resend the message. If the problem continues, please contact your helpdesk.” And your contact number is never reachable

  25. VISITED THE CANARA BANK ,GOKULA BRANCH,BANGALORE, TO ENQUIRE REGARDING THE ” REKYC”
    FOR WHICH THE BANK IS SENDING SMS REPEATEDLY IN THE MOBILE PHONE. THE CONCERNED LADY
    STAFF OF THE BANK BRANCH REFUSED TO INFORM ANY DETAIL, BUT ASKED ME TO COLLECT THE DETAILS IN ATM ONLY. THE STAFF WAS VERY IRRESPONSIBLE AND THE WORST ATTITUDE TOWARDS AN ACCOUNT HOLDER / CUSTOMER. INCIDENTLY THE MANAGER OF THE BANK WAS NOT AVAILABLE TO PUT MY COMPLAINT. PLEASE TAKE SUITABLE ACTION AGAINST THE CONCERNED STAFF TO RECTIFY THE ATTITUDE OF THE BANK STAFF TOWARDS THE CUSTOMER. I HAVE BEEN AN ACCOUNT HOLDER OF THIS BRANCH OF THE BANK FOR OVER 25 YEARS.
